This sensation will generally subside as you 'work' the area. It is only the first few passes that are questionable. Many technicians have learned to work the face at 18,000uv for the first 10 minutes then go back through at 22,000uV for the last 10 minutes. This seems to alleviate the discomfort in most clients.
